Dr. A. Ramachandran, M.D.,Ph.D.,D.Sc.,FRCP.(Lond).(Edin)., an internationally acknowledged pivotal figure in the field of contemporary Diabetes Health Care and Research, has established Dr. A. Ramachandran’s Diabetes Hospitals (ARH) to provide state of the art specialty services in the management of diabetes mellitus and its complications. He has also established the India Diabetes Research Foundation to achieve the mission of collective action for sustained population wide improvement in diabetes health care in our country and other developing countries.

Prof. A.Ramachandran has contributed extensively for diabetes care and epidemiological research in India for more than three decades. His vast experiences and peerless performances have bestowed on him national and international recognition and awards besides, responsibilities in the international association and organisations. In addition to undertaking national and international clinical and epidemiological research, he has been collaborating with international multi centric research on diabetes.
